Useful Typography Website: Text as Design: Production Graphics - This website illustrates how easy it is to make text that breaks the rules, and talks about text as art, and as such, is not bound by tight rules such as being easy to read. It goes on to explain that for the best results, the designer must be prepared to make someone look twice at a word to know what it says.

Useful Colour Theory Website: Cambridge in Colour - This is a website that focuses on photography, but it also talks about colour in a lot of detail. Cambridge In Colour also provides tutorials that explain colour attributes, colour relationships and the basics of colour.
